It was all over the TVs and Social Media that the Popeye’s Chicken Sandwich was sold out in 2 weeks!

It was typical morning I was driving to work listening to the radio and this topic came up.
Which would you prefer, “Chick-fil-A or Popeye’s Chicken Sandwich”?
That was before I learned Popeye’s has released a new chicken sandwich. I’m not a big fan of fast food store but if I go, I always go for a chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A.
I barely knew any other good chicken sandwich until my husband told me last night that Popeye’s released a really really good chicken sandwich and they are all out of sandwich nationwide…
We had to give it a shot, crossing my fingers we waited in a drive-through line at one of Popeye’s in Palatine for about 30min.
We thought the line was from people weren’t sure what else to buy because they couldn’t order the chicken sandwich LOL
Our turn came and thought why not to ask so we did.
The answer was “Yes, we still have few left.”
YESSSSSSS!!!!! Got 2 chicken sandwiches!✨✨✨
Here’s my comments.
Pros:
- Super crispy (even ordered for to go) outside and tender inside
- Pretty good size and thickness of Chicken
- Entire fried chicken was seasoned well
Cons (it’s all my personal preferences though):
- Because it is a Classic Style, ingredients other than chicken was only pickles
- Spicy chicken wasn’t spicy enough (to me)
Though, I totally understand why the sandwich was sold out nationwide and I would definitely consider to get it again.
Just, I haven’t had a fast food for a long time, so my mouth and body felt the fat so much afterwards though LOL
