Today, we came to downtown Chicago To avoid traffic and expensive parking fees for over night at the hotel, we took a Metra train.
Our train arrived at Ogilvie Transportation Center (OTC) right before noon. So we decided to have lunch at Chicago French Market.

Website is here: https://frenchmarketchicago.com/
It’s located behind the OTC (North of OTC) and there are so many different kinds of food you can select from. Asian, European, Sweets&Coffee, and even Ahi Poke bowl is there

We ended up getting food from Saigon Sisters and B.I. Tea and Dim Sum.
Forgot to take photos but From Saigon Sisters we’ve got a steak&meatball Pho and a Banh Mi.
Since I have lots of pho experiences, I would say their pho was 3 stars. But, I understand this is not a sit in kind of restaurant, so I won’t expect better than this Their banh mi was pretty good tho
B.I. Tea and Dim Sum is of course a Chinese restaurant.
We’ve got their dim sum combo. In this combo, we had:
- 1 Pork and shrimp shu mai
- 1 Shrimp dumpling
- 1 Beef shu Mai
- 1 Bean curd (Yuba) skin roll w/ pork
- 2 Chicken dumplings
- 1 Signature Bao – we selected Spicy Pork Belly Bao
- And we also got a free Milk Tea came with combo
All of these for $10.95. Not bad at all!! Dim sum were exactly what you’ve expected. So juicy and yummy
Unlike other city price $$$ restaurants in Chicago, here at French Market you can buy food at normal price lol It’s a food court style and there are tables in the back too
If you are in rush to train, you can grab and go as well
Nice place to try out if you haven’t
