Today’s target was Art on the MART. It’s a free show projected on the MART building.
This year started on May 13th and continued everyday 30min after sunset. After 9/30 thru the end of year, the show is scheduled only from Wednesday thru Sunday.

Seems like they had fireworks on the weekend a week (9/21 when Fall Program launched) before we went, but we just wanted to avoid the traffic and crowd…
It was about 15min or so, kinda felt it was pretty quick to me, but if you haven’t seen it, it might worth stopping by and take a look!
Living in Chicago suburbs for 3 years and I didn’t even know. I wish I knew earlier though.
The best spot is somewhere between N Wells St. and N Orleans St. We were looking at the building from the river walk, so kinda felt too close although we had a spot to sit to watch. It may be better to look from the upper side on W Wacker Dr.
Until the sun goes down, we spent time on Magnificent Mile.
