10th OBGYN Visit & NST
At this point, my OBGYN visit changed to every week and I have to have an appointment with a doctor, not a nurse.
So, I had my 10th OBGYN visit during this week. During this visit, my doctor performed a Group B Strep Test and check my breast as well. Group B strep test was pretty simple, just take some sample and send it to a lab. The result was negative, so I won’t need antibiotics through IV during a labor. Although, he mentioned that even without antibiotics, they’ll put an IV tube, nothing is attached, anyways in case of emergency. I hate needles, but probably at that point, my pain from labor is way worse than the needle. haha
Another thing he checked was my cervix. It’s not for checking my dilation, but by checking an opening, he can tell if the baby’s head is dropped or not. Oh, and of course, if the baby’s head is down or not as well. He said, definitely the baby’s head is down, but not fully dropped yet. I mean I still have 4 more weeks to go, so eventually it’ll drop, so nothing to consider though. It’s just so cool that he can feel my baby’s head!
Besides doctor’s visit was usual NST. This time, our baby moved a LOT lol Which is good. He is pretty motivated lately and kicks me so much 🙂
That was pretty much it as for the week. 2 more weeks and I’ll be off from work for a while. 3 more weeks to go to meet our first baby 💛
