I found this place on FB. Otherwise I wouldn’t knew this amazing place to visit during summer.
What’s special about this place is their Sunflower Maze!!
Tons of tons of Sunflowers!!! 
I believe they opened around July 10th and they have 3 different mazes that opens at different timing. Because, each maze only lasts for about 2 weeks. Their website is here: https://www.vonbergens.com/
They said the 2nd maze should be available in August and the 3rd is toward Fall.
Von Bergen’s Country Market is a farm in McHenry county, Illinois.
It’s about an hour drive from Rockford area, or about an hour and half drive North from downtown Chicago. It’s located about 3 min South from Wisconsin/Illinois border.
Unfortunately, they won’t allow any dogs besides service dogs. So we dropped our dog, Orbit, at daycare before heading to the farm.
The admission fee was $5 per person and free for 3 and under. I would highly recommend to bring your mask since there were so many people out there. Parking was pretty full and we saw so many cars coming in and out. Some worn masks and some didn’t. We only took off masks when we wanted to take pictures and put back on when passing through a crowd. They placed hand sanitizers every place that people may touch. It seems they are well prepared for this crisis.
There are few food stands that sells corns and chicken? I think. There are tables to eat and playground for kids to hang out and some animals.
We were mainly there for the sunflower so spent most of time there ♥ It’s so just beautiful!!! I have never seen this many sunflowers altogether!!!
I would definitely come back after our first baby is older and can walk around 😉

We crossed the border and entered Wisconsin again 🙂 Just driving around Lake Geneva, which we’ve never been to, and watch crowds without masks enjoying at beach lol It appears that people in Wisconsin is less careful about this virus thing. After Lake Geneva, we stopped at one grocery store in Wisconsin and grabbed this beers!! New Glarus Brewing Co. It’s like Yuengling Beer that you can only buy it in Indiana. This New Glarus beers also you can only buy it in Wisconsin. I haven’t tried it yet since I’m pregnant, but my husband loves it!! I just can’t wait to try it out 😉
