Today is finally the day that we have a 5 kilo marathon. The event is called 5K Dog Dash and Saveavet.org is organizing it.
I was Googling to look for a 5K event and I thought why not taking Orbit with us. There are many dog involved events here and there. I simply chose this event as they say our participation fee will be used toward donations.
This event was held in Lisle at Four Lakes Ski Hill.
We have picked up a package a day before, so we got there 30min prior the starting time 🙂 Then, we saw many people hanging around with their dogs and waiting for the start. It was good for Orbit to socialize 😆♥️
We gathered around the start area around 10am. All the runner were in front and dog walkers were behind them, then Start!!
The resort was pretty easy to walk, and it was a perfect day for being outside! Regarding Orbit, he’s got tired about twice so we had to carry him for a bit LOL
Though, he completed the course 🙂
We walked all 5 kilometers in the resort and once we finished, free lunch and an alcohol welcomed us back.
